Remember, baptismal class for the parents and Godparents before baptism, is a
required part of the process.
The class may be attended before or
after the birth of the baby and should be attended at St.
Joseph's. Please don't put this class off to where you will be
disappointed in not being prepared to have the baptism on the
date you desire. There will be no baptism until proper
preparation has taken place. Classes are held once a month.
baptism will normally take place during the Sunday liturgy to
fulfill the liturgical requirement of community being present to
witness the new life given to their brother/sister in Jesus
Christ.
Parents wishing to have their children baptized should call
the church office for details and to sign up for baptismal
class. You should be a registered, active member of St. Joseph.

Take a few hours to prepare for a lifetime. The Diocese of
Ft. Worth requires extensive preparation for the couple planning
to be married in accordance with the Church. Please plan on
seeing the pastor at least six months prior to the proposed
wedding date to avoid disappointment. Do not set a date prior to
speaking with the pastor. The whole preparation process is
designed and intended for one purpose: to help the couple
achieve a life-long loving relationship in Christ and with each
other. Honest, we aren't trying to give you a hard time. :-)
If your spouse or a family member is confined at home or in
the hospital with an illness, please notify the church office so
we can arrange communion for them or a visit. Any family member
with a serious illness or impending operation will be given the
sacrament of the sick if you will notify us promptly. This
sacrament addresses the PHYSICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, and SPIRITUAL
needs of the sick. It is an added dimension of total care and
concern for our loved ones.
First communion is based on the age and religious education
background of the individual. In all cases Sacramental
Preparation Classes are required. Contact
Sr. Dorothy , our
Director of Religious Education at 817-472-5181 for additional
information and to register for the appropriate class.
